Kerry Tuttle, LCSW - President

Kerry is a Fairfield County native who relocated to Somers in 2002.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Sacred Heart University in 1997 and a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University in 2002.  She is currently a licensed clinical social worker with a private practice in Enfield.  She maintains her American Heart Association Basic Lifesaving Skills as a Healthcare Provider certification.  She has served as an Officer and/or Chairperson of Somers PTA since 2007.  She serves on the Board of Directors of Hopeful Parents, a national grassroots support network for parents of children with special needs, as the Membership Chair.  She is a founding member of ManeWaves.  She has extensive experience managing small businesses and nonprofit organizations.  Her skills as an Administrator and Executive Director are a tremendous asset to this organization.

Bonnie DeGray - Director                             

Bonnie is an Enfield resident who has enjoyed riding and owning horses for much of her life.  She is employed by Bombardier Aerospace in Windsor Locks.  Bonnie has over 25 years of experience in the customer service field.  She has previous experience volunteering with another local therapeutic riding center, which is now closed, and has been a valuable asset to ManeWaves since the beginning.  She was elected to the Board of Directors in April 2010.  She brings considerable therapeutic riding knowledge, competent equine advice and a gentle kindness to this organization.

Dana Hurley - Director

Dana is a Missouri native who relocated to Connecticut in 2001.  She currently resides in Stafford Springs with her husband and two children.  She earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Special Education from Central Missouri State University in 1995 and a Master’s of Arts in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University in 2004.  She is currently a Special Education teacher and Transition Coordinator for the Stafford Public School District.  She has widespread experience working with people with disabilities and their families.  She was elected to the Board of Directors in May of 2010.  She brings remarkable energy, knowledge and advocacy to this organization.

Matt Squiers - Director

Matt is an Enfield native who moved to East Windsor with his wife in 2003.  He has previously been a dispatcher for the Enfield Police Department and a volunteer firefighter for the Enfield Fire Department.  He has now worked for the Hartford Fire Department for over twenty years.  He maintains his national CPR certification and State of Connecticut Medical Response Technician (MRT) certification.  He was one of ManeWaves' most dedicated volunteers prior to being elected to the Board of Directors in May of 2010.  He brings a deeply caring heart, solid character and a tremendous commitment to our clients to this organization.
